We’re Melanie and Dalton, parents to three children—two earthside and one in heaven. Our youngest, Jaidyn, is an identical twin to Waylon, who we lost at 24 weeks due to Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome, and spent time in the NICU. Through that experience, we faced not only deep emotional pain but overwhelming financial stress. In Waylon’s honor, we founded The Waylon Court Foundation to help other families facing pregnancy or child loss, or navigating the NICU journey. Our goal is to ease the financial burden and remind families that they are not alone.

Hi! My name is Kamryn Hinton (Kam-n to Emerson Spurgeon), Director of Philanthropy at The Waylon Court Foundation. My background combines several years of experience with donor relations and community engagement, as well as a personal history of working closely with families and children as a nanny. I am deeply passionate about connecting generous individuals and businesses with meaningful opportunities to create lasting impact. At the heart of my work is building hope, offering compassion, and reminding families that they are never alone. I am honored to help carry out the mission of The Waylon Court Foundation by supporting those facing the unimaginable- whether it’s the heartbreak of pregnancy or child loss, or the overwhelming challenges of a NICU journey
